Biomethane Solutions

Biomethane plant solutions for manure, crop residues, food waste, industrial organic streams, municipal biowaste and wastewater sludge.

Feedstock-led engineering

Different materials require different plants.

We select reception, pre-treatment, digestion and residue-management systems according to the physical and biological behaviour of the feedstock—not a standard equipment list.

01 · Agriculture

Manure & livestock waste

Plant configurations for cattle, pig and poultry manure, including reception, mixing, hygienisation where required, digestion and nutrient recovery.

  • Liquid and solid manure handling
  • Co-digestion with crop residues
  • Digestate separation and storage
02 · Crop residues

Straw & fibrous biomass

Pre-treatment and feeding concepts for fibrous materials that require size reduction, controlled dosing and careful management of dry matter.

  • Shredding and contaminant removal
  • Solid feed introduction
  • Mixing and viscosity management
03 · Food & beverage

Organic waste & process effluent

Systems for packaged food waste, production residues and high-strength organic wastewater, designed around continuity, hygiene and variability.

  • Depackaging and slurry preparation
  • Equalisation and load control
  • Industrial wastewater integration
04 · Municipal

Biowaste & wastewater sludge

Robust reception and contaminant control for source-separated organics, sewage sludge and municipal organic treatment facilities.

  • Material reception and sorting
  • Wet or dry digestion pathways
  • Odour and residue management

Product pathways

Design the facility for its final gas use.

Product specification, pressure, metering and compliance interfaces must be defined before upgrading equipment is selected.

A

Grid injection

Biogas conditioning, upgrading, quality verification, compression, metering and grid connection interfaces.

B

Compressed biomethane

Upgraded gas compression and storage for transport fuel, virtual pipeline or distributed industrial use.

C

Industrial fuel

Renewable gas delivered at the pressure and quality required for boilers, process heat or local energy users.

D

CHP & heat

Biogas conditioning and combined heat and power integration where on-site electricity and thermal use are preferred.

New build or retrofit

Our scope can start with a greenfield plant, a new upgrading line, or the expansion and modernisation of an operating digestion facility.

For retrofit work, we begin with existing plant data, bottleneck review, shutdown constraints and a clear battery limit. This protects current operations while defining the new scope.
